EPL: ‘He lacks class to manage Man United’ – Ronaldo after facing Mourinho’s 2018 team

It emerged that Cristiano Ronaldo once angrily told his former Real Madrid boss José Mourinho that he lacked the ability to handle business at Manchester United when he faced the Red Devils in a Champions League match at Old Trafford in October 2018.

Manchester United announced in December 2018 that manager Mourinho had left the club with immediate effect.

ESPN reports that Ronaldo was angry with Mourinho’s club management style.

ESPN also reports that the Portuguese striker was not too impressed with Mourinho’s time at the club and took a hit on the “Special One”.

The sports site quoted a source as saying: “He came by and said: ‘Mourinho doesn’t have the class to coach Manchester United. ”

This particular comment was taken as a sign of how much the former Real Madrid striker still cared about what happened at United.

Cristiano Ronaldo left Juventus last week and Manchester United have announced that the 36-year-old Portuguese captain is returning to Old Trafford.

His return was officially announced on Tuesday with the signing of a two-year contract by the former Sporting Lisbon winger.
