Former Crystal Palace boss Simon Jordan has said Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku will be the Premier League’s biggest signing this summer.
The former Palace owner also predicted that the Belgian will score no less than 30 goals this summer.
He said this when commenting on one of the busiest transfer windows of recent years.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to Manchester United was officially confirmed today, while England midfielder Jack Grealish broke the Premier League transfer record this summer by trading Aston Villa for Manchester City for £ 100million.
Lukaku came second on this list with his £ 97million move to Chelsea from Inter Milan.
But when asked who he thinks would make the biggest difference in the Premier League this season, he told talkSPORT “Lukaku.
“Lukaku plays for a Chelsea I admire.
“I’m not a big Chelsea fan, I’m a London club fan and it’s not Chelsea so I don’t stay in awe of Chelsea, but I admire [Thomas] Tuchel, I think he embodies everything a manager should. to be.
“I think his team are pretty great and I think Lukaku on this side will score over 30 goals this season.”
The former Everton, Manchester United and Inter Milan star already opened his Premier League account with a goal against Arsenal on Matchday 2 of the season.
