Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has said there are still rumors that big club coaches will be sacked.
Guardiola said this when asked about Mikel Arteta’s future at Arsenal, following a 5-0 loss to the Premier League champions on Saturday.
The result means the Gunners have yet to win or score in their first three league games of the new season.
“We know our work at the big clubs, there are always rumors that you don’t win.
“It has helped me a lot to achieve what we have achieved together. I learned a lot, he taught me a lot, a lot of things. What we have at Man City now is because of him, ”Guardiola said.
The City boss has also claimed that Arsenal have had difficult games to start the season and have supported their former assistant to recover.
“When you face the European champions and the English champions, it’s not easy.
“I have no doubts. He is so strong, he will recover, he will analyze and I am sure he will come back to the track,” he added.
